Vistula University is a reputable university, awarded by independent Polish and foreign institutions, such as Perspektywy and Rzeczpospolita, Home&Market and Business Center Club.



It was established in 1992, and together with the European Academy of Fine Arts and the School of Tourism and Recreation it forms the Vistula Universities Group.


It offers undergraduate, graduate, engineering, postgraduate and doctoral studies, conducted both in Polish and in English.


Vistula University conducts research on many subjects ordered by the public and private sector entities.

Research projects conducted include the innovation report on the Polish economy, the role of interest groups in legislative procedure, an analysis of Poland’s energy challenges, the developmental potential of the pharmaceutical and medical industry, the policy of host countries towards foreign direct investment and the maturity model of the national public project completion as well as the development of good management practices with respect to human resources competence.


The main objective of Vistula University is the best possible preparation of students for their future careers and meeting the needs of employers in the local and international labor market, both in small business and in large multinational corporations.

The university curriculum is based on the academic and business experience of lecturers. As a result, students gain not only a solid theoretical knowledge, but also excellent practical experience.

Student services

The International Office staff is responsible for:

  • the recruitment of international students,
  • promoting the educational offer in foreign markets, and co-operation with education agencies,
  • the preparation of relevant documents for students in order to obtain visasfor Poland,
  • the organisation of accommodation in Warsaw,
  • guidance on immigration issues,
  • the implementation of projects on an international scale,
  • the exchange of students, and academic and administrative staff with partner universities,
  • foreign internships within a framework of co-operation with partner companies

Housing services

Vistula University does not have its own dormitories but it co-operates with student hostels accommodating students of Vistula University exclusively. The list of student hostels and booking information is available upon enrolment.

Medical services

Health insurance is mandatory for all international students at VU before registration.

We also have an infirmary, operating under supervision of the Health, Cultural and SportsDivision on campus, and it provides emergency health services with one doctor and a nurse onweekday work hours.

Modern campus: 25 000m² indoor-area, there are: 8 computer labs, 7 auditoriums, 60 lecture halls, a rich and a specially designed library, Olympic sports hall and gyms.
