The ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences was formed in 2007 with the merger of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences Winterthur (ZHW), the University Wädenswil (HSW), the University of Applied Psychology (HAP) and the University of Social Work.
The ZHAW is one of the leading universities of applied sciences in Switzerland. Our degree programmes are practice-oriented and scientifically based. Several of our 27 Bachelor’s and 16 Master’s degree programmes are unique in Switzerland.
At its three locations in the canton of Zurich, the ZHAW carries out research projects which either lead directly to new developments in companies in Switzerland and globally, or which bring improvements for our society. Researchers at the ZHAW are therefore in close contact with business partners and with public institutions. Our partners gain from the specialist knowledge of our experts and have access to our excellent research infrastructure.
Whether you would like an evaluation of your current situation and potential, career advice or job application coaching, our career services can help you make a smooth transition between university and the professional world.
Many organisations offer scholarships or grants. Some of these might help you to study for a Master at ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences!
