In 1968 Dauphine College, University of Paris created by decree under Minister of Education Edgar Faure.
In 1970 Dauphine College becomes Université Paris IX-Dauphine.
Dauphine offers programs academic training for traditional university students as well as those who choose to study throughout their career:

Dauphine University Library is the premier French reference library for economics and management. With over 180,000 books, subscriptions to 1,500 magazines and reviews in economics, management, law, mathematics, IT and social sciences, on-line access to over 40 data-bases, 24,000 periodicals and 9,000 e-books, the library provides students, researchers.
Health & Social Services
Université Paris-Dauphine offers a full range of health and social services to meet our students' needs.
All health and social services are located on the ground floor b-wing of the main, Porte Dauphine campus, for easy access.
The historic Dauphine campus, located at the Porte Dauphine in central Paris, is home to over 8,000 students.
The La Défense campus in the heart of one of Paris' major business districts, is home to 1,400 masters students and over 20 specialized master's programs.
Our athletic facilities are located close by the main campus. Dauphine also boasts a 1,200 m2 sports hall located on the basement level of the main building comprising a dance studio, dojo (martial-arts room), table-tennis room, weight room and squash court as well as changing rooms, showers and amenities.
30 different clubs bring together students committed to humanitarian, cultural, athletic, community or recreational projects that benefit the entire Dauphine community and beyond.
