UNLV welcomed more than 3,700 new freshmen this year—our largest-ever freshman class and up more than 10 percent from last year. UNLV has a school record number of National Merit Scholars, more than 60 valedictorians, and our largest and most gifted Honors College class.
A team of UNLV accounting students won a national competition sponsored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Last year, UNLV distributed more than $240 million in financial aid.
UNLV received Minority Serving Institution designation from the U.S. Department of Education, meeting the requirements as an Asian-American and Native-American, Pacific Islander-Serving Institution and is an emerging Hispanic Serving Institution.
UNLV contracts with AVS Housing Group to manage its on-campus residence halls.
UNLV maintains a strong relationship with its business partners to best serve our students, faculty and staff on campus. We provide daily management of contracts and leases with our business partners, including but not limited to bookstore, food service, and housing administration. Together we work to provide a seamless experience.
UNLV Libraries has always been more than books; we’re about encouraging students and creating quality programs that elevate growth and learning. As the only research library in Southern Nevada, UNLV Libraries has a strong community mission: open to the public; providing resources and expert consultations to members of the business community; serving UNLV alumni; reaching out to k-12 professionals.
