Many organisations offer scholarships or grants. Some of these might help you to study for a Master at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences!
Each international student at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) is introduced to a student tutor right at the beginning of studies. A student tutor is a fellow student, who has volunteered to help new students with practical matters concerning the studies and with life in the new country and city. In most cases the incoming international students will get a message from their tutor student already before arriving to Satakunta.
Students have a right to receive a study grant which consists of the grant itself, a housing allowance and a study loan.
The Library of Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) operates in campuses providing library and information services to students and personnel as well as to researchers. The library is open to the public.
When starting studies, each student will get a personal access code for intranet, e-mail and computer systems. Each student will get free secured hard disk space for saving documents. This space is solely at the student’s disposal. It is also possible to save documents to the general hard disk space which everyone with access codes is entitled to.

Sauna is not just a place to get clean. It's a place to take off your clothes and at the same time shake off your cares. There are saunas of every size and type in Finland, from electric saunas at swimming pools and sports complexes, to little wood-heated saunas right by the water's edge.
There's more to the sauna than just the steam. There's this ritual of steam, swimming and relaxing that is practiced by almost all Finns and enjoyed by visitors from around the world. Some people also do it in the winter. The lake is frozen except for a bit of open water at the end of the dock. And then someone walks out of the sauna and takes a dip in a hole in the frozen lake.
Satakunnan ammattikorkeakoulun opiskelijakunta (SAMMAKKO) is the student union for all the students enrolled at SAMK. SAMMAKKO is a member of the Union of Students in Finnish Universities of Applies Sciences (SAMOK). The purpose of the student union is to help students with matters related to studying and student life. In each school, there is a student association present.
Together with the ISIC Association and British Council IELTS, StudyPortals offers you the chance to receive up to £10000 to expand your horizon and study abroad. We want to ultimately encourage you to study abroad in order to experience and explore new countries, cultures and languages.
