We offer a wide array of accredited programs, courses and degrees, both on campus and online, which all translate into more options for you. With 11 colleges and schools covering subjects from the humanities to math, science and technology to education and health, ETSU provides extensive opportunities for learning and growth. Within these colleges and schools, there are departments offering 140 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degree programs, as well as honors experiences available to a broad spectrum of students in all fields of study. With an average class size of only 23 students, the focus is not only on what you want to be, but who you want to be. At ETSU, you are sure to find the major and minor that you want to pursue.


In the heart of Johnson City, ETSU's main campus sits on 340 beautiful acres in the shadow of Buffalo and Cherokee Mountains.Across the ETSU campus you will pass by more than 80 buildings, including academic and teaching facilities, and extraordinary library, state-of-the-art residence halls and athletic facilities, and even an observatory and an outdoor amphitheatre.The center area of campus recently underwent a transformation as a road and parking areas were removed to create the Quad, a beautiful new green space which is also home to our Veterans Memorial. In addition to the main campus ETSU has facilities on the VA campus just across the street, a campus in Kingsport, Elizabethton and Sevierville, and several satellite facilities in the area bringing education and resources to the region.

The college's business administration programs are fully accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Additionally, both the undergraduate and graduate accounting programs have a separate AACSB International accounting accreditation. East Tennessee State University is one of a small percentage of non-doctoral granting schools in the nation which has a separate AACSB International accredited Master of Accountancy program.
