History

The University of Southern Denmark received its first students in Odense in September 1966. Since then, it has gone from strength to strength.

Education

Having developed international programmes for almost twenty years, the University enjoys a vibrant, multicultural environment and a worldwide network of businesses, institutions and researchers. Teaching staff have extensive research expertise, ensuring students receive an education of the highest quality.

Research

Outstanding research in other areas has also been acknowledged through the establishment of a number of national research centres at the University of Southern Denmark. Examples include the Hans Christian Andersen Centre and Robocluster. Odense is also well known for its research within the field of geriatric.
