A member of the Université du Québec network, École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) specializes in application engineering and technology. Its activities are geared toward co-operative education, with a particular focus on developing new technologies and transferring them to companies.

Education

ÉTS offers 101 study programs:

  • 25 at the undergraduate level, among which 7 bachelor's degrees;
  • 76 at the graduate and doctorate levels.

Research

Research and innovation

Graduate and doctoral students at ÉTS benefit from a stimulating research environment and dynamic supervision from experienced professors.

The members of our faculty are renowned for their expertise in applied research in a wide range of disciplines, and our researchers are producing a combined total of close to 700 publications annually.

ÉTS organizes a variety of career days and networking events in order to give employers an opportunity to introduce themselves to ÉTS students and graduates.

Services

Housing services

Close to 1,100 students live in the school’s residences, which feature furnished, heated and lighted apartments and studios that are equipped with Internet access.

Library services

The library boasts a collection of 65,000 specialized documents from the fields of science and engineering, and subscribes to more than 8,500 print and electronic periodicals.

Student Life

Campus life

Located in the heart of downtown, the ÉTS campus is easily accessible by bicycle and public transit.

Sports facilities

Students can use the double gymnasium at the ÉTS sports centre to play basketball, badminton, soccer, volleyball and floor hockey. The training room includes cardiovascular and weight training equipment, and numerous spinning, outdoor cardio, yoga, and other classes are available at lunch time.

ETS strongly encourages students to join one of the approximately 30 scientific or social/cooperative clubs.
