History

  • 5 March, 1850 Foundation of Archduke of Baden's Clockmaker School in Furtwangen
  • 1852 Foundation of the "German Clock Museum“ - still a department of the HFU to this day
  • 1863 Closure of Clockmaker School but vocational school remains
  • 1877 Re-establishment of the Clockmakers' School and establishment of Wood-carving School

The International Center can organize a room for you upon request, either in student Halls of Residence or a private room. (Please note that only a limited number of rooms are available in the student Halls of Residence.

Library services

The Libraries Catalogue contains the actual physical content of the libraries. These media can generally be borrowed. It also contains the e-books which the libraries have licensed, for example the SPRINGER, HANSER and OLDENBOURG e-books.
