At the halfway point in the 2014-15 academic year, nearly 60 percent of Rose-Hulman’s seniors have already accepted postgraduate employment opportunities, while others plan to attend graduate school or are preparing to be commissioned military officers through Army and Air Force ROTC programs.

Housing services

  • Rose-Hulman's campus is small, quiet and quite picturesque, if we do say so ourselves. It's an excellent learning environment and a great place to call home. The residence halls at Rose-Hulman are truly an extension of the college classroom, and they give students the opportunity to participate in community development, develop better people skills and create lifelong friendships.
  • There are nine residence halls on the Rose-Hulman campus. Each is within short walking distance of the Hulman Memorial Union. Incoming Freshmen are housed together with genders separated by floor. After your Freshman year you'll have a broader choice of residence halls from all-male houses to halls with co-ed floors.

Library services

Logan Library provides access to high quality resources, spacious study space, excellent service, convenient hours, and friendly, helpful staff to support Rose-Hulman's curriculum. We promote life-long learning to help you learn, share, and succeed. 

Our online resources are available 24 hours a day!

ICT services

This network is connected to the campus-wide network and the Internet. Laboratory machines are mostly Sun Ultra workstations. Computer science majors have unlimited access to the department’s laboratories.

Student Life

Campus life

  • The residence halls at Rose-Hulman are truly an extension of the college classroom, and they give students the opportunity to participate in community development, develop better people skills and create lifelong friendships.
  • While each residence hall has its differences and special features, they all have one thing in common: a room designed to provide each student with a comfortable space to call home. Most of our halls contain around 100 students and have easily accessible common areas creating an atmosphere that encourages students to be friendly and get to know each other.

Sports facilities

  • Hulbert Arena, where the varsity basketball and volleyball teams compete
  • The fieldhouse, used for indoor track, basketball, indoor soccer, tennis, volleyball and home-run derby
  • Rose-Hulman Natatorium, a 25-meter, eight-lane pool used for varsity swimming and diving and recreational exercise
  • Multipurpose room, used for martial arts, wrestling, CPR certification and other activities
  • Weight room/fitness center, featuring Hammer Strength and Magnum exercise equipment
  • Racquetball courts, located at the south end

Student clubs

The Rose-Hulman Alumni Association has been formed for the purpose of serving, engaging, educating, and providing support for all graduates of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. The association will strive to foster good fellowship among alumni, a culture of lifelong connection with all of the institute's constituents, and to provide a liaison between the college and its alumni.
