It is no coincidence that Milan is also the birthplace of many of the worlds leading contemporary designers. Rome has always been a crossroads of cultures and nationalities, of social relations and international events. Turin has a well-established reputation as a productive city in a constant state of cultural ferment, featuring extensive experience with new technologies and design for transportation. Florence can boast one of the worlds most important artistic and cultural heritages, but is also a city with a wealth of great craft traditions, especially in the area of fashion and accessories.
The natural bridge between Europe and the rest of the Mediterranean basin, the IEDs school in Cagliari is a place where cultures and traditions meet in search of a new model of development and cohabitation, exploring new forms of crossfertilisation between design, creativity, innovation and business.
