Message from the Chancellor S. Peter Horn

The International School of Management (ISM) is proud to announce the 10 year, unconditional reaffirmation of the accreditation of its business programs -- MBA, IEMBA, DBA, and PhD -- by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

ISM has positioned itself as a premier management development institution, drawing on interdisciplinary culture to seek new opportunities; making research, and education integral to one another with probably one of the best worldwide mixes of executives, including more than 90 nationalities represented in the student body.
Founded in 1988, ACBSP recognizes best practices that contribute to continuous improvement of business education and accredits qualified business programs. It is the leading specialized accreditation association for business education rewarding teaching excellence and is recognized for its strong contribution to management education by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Recognition by CHEA affirms that standards and processes of accrediting organizations are consistent with quality, improvement, and accountability expectations that CHEA has established. Furthermore, I have been appointed to the Board of Commissioners of ACBSP to help other business schools attain the same high standards that have been achieved by ISM's business programs. This is indeed an honor for our institution.

Services

ISM's main campus is situated in Paris' elegant 7th arrondissement, within easy walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, the Seine, and the Parc des Invalides. ISM also offers dynamic programs in the United States, China, India and Japan, which combine a business education with crucial insight into other languages and cultures. Strategic partnerships in Shanghai, with St. John's University in New York, and with Amity University in New Delhi, reinforce ISM's prominent position in three more of the world's most important business capitals.

ISM offers aid with documents for visas for all of our international locations. The Student Services Coordinator, part of the Office of the Registrar, is available for booking appointments with your research advisor, transcript and transfer credit requests, registration for international programs, attestations, diplomas, and most other matters concerning your academic record. He can also be consulted for any questions concerning ISM policies and procedures. Furthermore, if you have additional questions about the visa process and housing you can direct your questions to him.

Students have the opportunity to attend multiple networking events throughout the academic year with current ISM students and alumni. Student will also have the opportunity to have access to the American Library in Paris and ISM will reimburse students the cost of library membership at their local library in order to facilitate their research. For students in Paris wishing to improve their language skills, ISM organizes personalized French language courses .
