Oulu University Library is a scientific library, the task of which is to provide library and information services for the researchers, teachers and students of the University of Oulu.
University of Oulu campus offers students and staff free wireless internet access and a variety of different ICT facilities. Computer labs and classrooms provide students with Windows, Linux and Macintosh workstations equipped with latest software and programmes. ICT facilities and services are designed to help you achieve best results in your studies and research.
Student health services for all Bachelor and Master level students are located at the Linnanmaa campus. Health services include medical, mental, and dental treatment. Most services are free of charge while some incur a nominal fee.
The main campus building in Linnanmaa is a large complex, where all parts are connected. From the north end to the south end runs Väylä, the interior street. On the street are the faculties of Technology, Science, Humanities, Education, and Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, and Oulu Business School, as well as the major lecture halls, restaurants, and other services.
The campus is located five kilometres to the north of the center of Oulu. The campus has residential buildings for thousands of students, as well as a chapel and sports hall.
