The University of Dundee is a firmly established university, with a world-class reputation in teaching and research. Our position as one of the world's top 150 universities (Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2010) has further strengthened this outstanding reputation.

Sixteen percent of Dundees 18,000 students are international, coming from over 80 countries worldwide. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding support for international students and, according to the latest International Student Barometer (autumn 2009), 88% are satisfied or very satisfied with the support they receive from Dundee.

Our campus boasts state-of-the-art teaching facilities, library, accommodation, sports and social areas, creating a sense of community and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Everything you need can be found on campus, although the attractions of the city - including a vibrant music scene, galleries, cinemas and theatre - are only a few minutes away.

Compared to other Scottish cities, Dundee boasts more sunshine, lower rainfall and a warmer climate due to its sheltered location on the coast. The majority of students live on or near the campus and benefit from easy access to Scotlands beautiful countryside. The University is centrally located and easily accessible - Edinburgh International airport is only an hour away.
