The University of Perpignan Via Domitia or Université de Perpignan Via Domitia is located in Perpignan, France. King Peter IV of Aragon established the University in 1349. Via Domita was an ancient road which connected Spain and Italy. The university also connects the people of all pver the world. It Perpignan was closed down in 1794.
Again in 1971 the university center was established in Perpignan. The university offers Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Science, technology, health; Law, Economics, Management; Human and Social Sciences; Arts, Literature, Languages ;Science and Techniques of Physical Activities and Sports. The faculties are Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences (LSH), Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences (SJE), International Faculty of Law for the French-speaking Africa (FIDAF), Faculty of Tourism, and International Hotel-keeping (THI), Faculty of Exact and Experimental Sciences (SEE). There are 10000 students and among them 3000 are from 110 different countries of the world.
