Since its founding in 1909, SSE has nurtured close ties to the business community, with over 110 current corporate partners. These links offer students an opportunity to meet and interact with companies and international leaders from both business and government on a regular basis and to combine theory with practice. One such example is the annual Nobel Lecture, given at SSE by the winners of the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel.
The school conducts world-class research and the programs are developed in close cooperation with the research and business communities. SSE is accredited by EQUIS, certifying that all of the main activities – teaching as well as research – are of the highest international standards. SSE is also the only Swedish member institution of CEMS and PIM, which are collaborations between top business schools worldwide, contributing to the high quality SSE is known for.

At SSE we have a small housing office that offers rooms and apartments to some of our international master students, incoming exchange students, PhD students, guest researchers and visitors affiliated with SSE. Below you can see what we can offer and also read more about what might suit you. Since Stockholm is a highly attractive city in many ways, the selection is limited and we can’t – unfortunately – offer housing possibilities to all of our applicants. We, therefore, recommend you to keep your eyes and engagement wide open and start looking for alternatives as soon as you can.
The Library aims to be the principal information resource for SSE students, researchers and staff.
