Student Life

Campus life

SMSAS is committed to promoting and sustaining an interest in our subject areas at all levels. To achieve this we offer a range of activities on campus.

Our events give students an opportunity to visit our beautiful campus and gain a feel for what it is like to study after A-levels.

Work is well under way on construction of a new building we will jointly occupy with Kent Business School (KBS).

The building will be a vibrant new campus destination bringing together students, researchers, academics, and professional services staff from both schools. The video (right) gives an impression of the vision for the building (duration 3m 30s).

Sports facilities

  • Exercise is a great way to clear the mind and improve wellbeing. We organise wellbeing walks across campus from time to time.
  • One of our regular wellbeing sessions is a presentation from Kent Sport on the impact of diet, sleep, nutrition, and exercise on our wellbeing.
