The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) was formed on 18 November 2010 through the merger of the University of Wales Lampeter and Trinity University College Carmarthen, under Lampeter’s Royal Charter of 1828. On the 1 August 2013, Swansea Metropolitan University became part of UWTSD.
At the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, we offer a wide range of academic and professional programmes at both Undergraduate andPostgraduate levels.
With our partners in the UWTSD group, we offer progression routes from Further Education right through to Post-Doctoral study.
The University’s research covers engineering, social science, arts and humanities disciplines. Striving to be engaged, always innovative, it’s often interdisciplinary and collaborative in nature. Through our research partnerships we influence economic, cultural and social landscapes at national, European and international levels by delivering benefits for business, government and communities.

University of Wales Trinity Saint David Swansea has five halls of residence based on two separate campuses. There are over 300 rooms for first year students to apply for with a mixture of standard study bedrooms and rooms with en-suite facilities.
The University of Wales Trinity Saint David is signed up to and fully supports the Accommodation Code of Practice. We endeavour to provide all students with an enjoyable, safe living environment and recommend that you read the code of practice before taking up your space in halls.
Eduroam (education roaming) is a wireless service that allows students, staff and faculty to use their own home institution's wireless credentials to access wireless network services when visiting any other eduroam affiliated institution without having to set up a guest account.

Together with the ISIC Association and British Council IELTS, StudyPortals offers you the chance to receive up to £10000 to expand your horizon and study abroad. We want to ultimately encourage you to study abroad in order to experience and explore new countries, cultures and languages.
