Note that the doctor but not all their staff may speak the respective language.
TU Dresden’s main campus is located south of the Dresden city centre and can be easily reached by bus (bus lines 61, 66, 85) and by tram (tram lines 3 and 8) or via the A17 highway (exit: “Dresden Südvorstadt”). The university outer campuses are located in Tharandt (Department of Forest Sciences), in Dresden-Blasewitz (University Hospital and “Biocampus”), in Dresden-Johannstadt (Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology) and in Pirna (Institute of Waste Management) and Zittau (IHI).
There are sports, fitness and table tennis rooms in the cellars of many halls. In front of some areas for ball games have been built. There are barbecue facilities. Green areas and parks invite you to go jogging or skating.
Dresden is the city with the most student clubs - there are at least 20. Practically all of them are to be found in the halls of residence and enrich the nightlife there with discos, beer evenings, karaoke, slide shows or evenings organised by foreign students. As well as these there is the Klub Neue Mensa (KNM) in Bergstraße refectory and the Club Mensa in the Reichenbachstraße refectory and Dresden's most famous student club the Bärenzwinger near the Brühlische Terrasse.
