.Aalto University School of Art and Design or Taideteollinen korkeakoulu was established in 1871. It changed it's name into Central School of Industrial Arts in 1885. In 2012 It becomes Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture.There are 5 academic departments. It accepts around 1750 students each year. The degrees awarded are Bachelor of Science in Technology, Architect, Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and Doctor of Arts.
