Manchester Metropolitan University was awarded university status in 1992 and is part of the largest higher education campus in the UK and one of the most extensive education centres in Europe.

Manchester Metropolitan University is based on 2 campuses – one in Manchester and one in Crewe, Cheshire.

Travelling to the Manchester and Cheshire campuses couldn't be easier. The region is well served by motorways, good public transport and Manchester International Airport is just 10 miles (16km) south of the city centre, with fast and frequent rail links to both Manchester and Cheshire.

The Institute of Biomedical Science accredits our MSc and BSc degrees in Biomedical Science and certain routes within the BSc Healthcare Science degree. BSc (Hons) Healthcare Science is also accredited by Health Education England, the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists and the Health and Care Professions Council.
