The Student Welfare Office aims to help foreign students to adapt to the University and Polish culture in a fast and simple way. Here every foreign student can tell us about his/her problem and receive support and guidance on a wide range of academic and personal issues.
Kozminski University does not own any housing facilities. However, student welfare staff can assist you in finding accommodation in the dormitories across the city. Please, note that the number of available places in the student houses is limited. Information regarding places available at a student house is available at the Student Welfare Office. Candidates interested in booking a place in the dormitory must apply as early as possible. Dormitory accommodation is only available for international students during their first year of studies.You may also look for the apartment by yourself.
The Kozminski University Library is committed to being a user-oriented, electronic research library of high international standard.
Library holdings and services are mainly concentrated in management and business economics, but the library also covers related subject areas.
The catalogue is found in the library’s computers and it is possible to gain access to this catalogue via the Internet.
The University offers free wireless internet access. Its biggest advantage is the ability to manage the course of study through access to the most important information: the schedule, assessments, and course materials.
Kozminski University covers the costs of visits to the general practitioner and the cost of laboratory tests obtained by referral from an internist in LUXMED Group Medical Centers. The cost of visits to other specialists are not refunded by the University, but you can get a 10% discount after presenting a Kozminski Student ID card.
Kozminski University is the sole proprietor of all the buildings on its campus. The school now has 6 large auditoriums (each seating between 100 and 200 people) as well as 26 classrooms (seating 50 to 100 people) and 24 workshop classrooms (seating up to 50 people).
Larger classrooms and all auditoriums possess audio-visual equipment. The school owns 5 seminar and discussion group rooms, as well as a Senate Hall (seating 120 people), 4 computer labs and 2 server rooms.The 4 cafeterias are available for faculty and students and are located on our premises as well as a bookstore, 2 photocopying offices, coffee machines, ATMs, a post office, student organization offices.
Academic Sport Association secures student physical development and organizes various sporting events and athletic camps. The University also owns several sport outlets. These include 1 playing field and 2 sport halls. In addition it hires out a swimming pool, a sauna - and basketball and volleyball courts.The Kozminski University ASA comprises 14 divisions: soccer, basketball, volleyball, swimming, tennis, table tennis, aikido, sailing, judo, aerobics classes, Alpine skiing, golf and diving and more.
Students of The University are involved in university life through active participation in scientific clubs. The aim of the research groups is to enable the improvement of the knowledge in accordance to the interests and practical skills acquired by the students during classes.The University Student Council is an incredible adventure; it is a perfect place for those, who want to develop their passions, accomplish their goals, pursue dreams but at the same time gain valuable experience.
