At the Neu-Ulm University, we focus on the individual student. Small study groups make it possible for lecturers to give individual and intensive guidance; this personal communication helps create a less formal atmosphere and at the same time promotes interaction, a characteristic which is also found in the work between students.Practical and working in tandem
The content of our courses has been discussed with companies and non profit-making organisations and is taught by lecturers who have been chosen because their work in industry has a high practical relevance.
An optimal addition to the theoretical studies are practical semesters; these are made possible through our close contact to regional and national industry. In addition, these intensify the exchange of knowledge, skills and technology between the university and the business world a fact which benefits both students and companies.
We welcome guests and visitors from all over the world - at the time of writing, we have 36 different nationalities studying and working here - and we are proud of our tradition of openness and curiosity about other cultures and ways of life, and willingness to share impressions and views. We work together with international organisations and partner universities in other countries; as part of the study courses, we encourage both our German and international students to spend time abroad. In addition, we offer modules of study in the English language in order to prepare students for the global job market.Building character and communicating values
Because we think cultural, ethical and social competence is just as important as subject-based ability, we offer interdisciplinary and intercultural studies. This supports our graduates in their efforts to research, consolidate and strengthen the vital qualities which they as a potential leader, manager and responsible member of society need.
Many organisations offer scholarships or grants. Some of these might help you to study for a Master at Neu Ulm University of Applied Sciences!
