About

History

The University of Rome Tor Vergata was established in 1982: it is therefore a relatively young University. It was designed on the model of Anglo-Saxon campuses: it stretches on 600 hectares and hosts important research institutions, such as CNR and the Italian Space Agency - ASI.

  • EUA Network (European University Association): the University of Rome Tor Vergata is part of EUA Network, i.e. a network representing higher education institutions and the Rectors’ Conferences of 46 European Countries.

Immersed in the greenery of Tor Vergata neighbourhood, CampusX Rome offers its residents an opportunity to reach their University buildings on foot. Not far from Fiumicino and Ciampino airports and just a few meters from Policlinico di Tor Vergata Hospital.This facility can accommodate about 1200 people with 718 available accommodation solutions (single or double). It offers all necessary services to enjoy your University experience.

Library services

The libraries on campus are organized by areas of study and by School. The campus community has free access to them. Each library autonomously decides upon entrance of the general public and guest students. The School of Engineering and the School of Law also have departmental libraries
