Founded by Jean-Pierre Bal, and in the millennium-bridging year 2000, the THIERRY school fosters an ambitious but peaceful mission of educating Better Leaders for a Better World, and nowadays fulfils its role by walking on the humble path of training leaders one by one.
Many organisations offer scholarships or grants. Some of these might help you to study for a Master at The Thierry Graduate School of Leadership!
The school's traditional physical library is located at the eco-campus House, Belgian Ardennes. There are many convenient reading spaces, study corners, and the shared main room.
The THIERRY ecological or environmental campus, the eco-campus, came into being in 2010. It replaced the earlier project of an urban campus in Brussels, a most central city. It was in the summer of 2004 already that the idea of a countryside type of campus emerged, and also to align with the original Latin 'campus' which means field or meadow.
The hills and forests and gardens and plains of very ancient centres of learning, for example Plato's academy in Ancient Greece, or the early type of universities that have existed in the mountainous areas of the Far East, were also sources of inspiration for creating the contemporary THIERRY campus, in Belgium.
