Student services

  • In 2007, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev took a strategic decision to establish the "Office of International Academic Affairs", reporting to the Rector, which will be centrally responsible for coordination of all mobility matters - incoming and outgoing - for the university.
  • The decision to establish the "Office of International Academic Affairs" reflects the university's appreciation of the global changes that have swept the world and a serious institutional commitment to broaden and deepen its international character, incorporating a high degree of academic, scientific exchanges on all levels from undergraduate to postdoctoral and faculty.

Library services

The University libraries offer a wide variety of high-quality and up-to-date academic resources-books, theses, films and maps-online and in print. The librarians provide individual and group instruction in locating information/materials and assist in the use of databases and other information sources, both in the library and remotely.

ICT services

  • Access library databases for all users of the university - regardless of Internet and VPN provider.
  • Wireless faculty, students and guests - This network is designed to serve the entire student body and faculty. This network allows access to all the services provided on the network and outside the university.

Medical services

  • The Student Psychological Service aims to provide solutions for personal, relationship and family problems, and for consultation regarding choice of profession or studies.
  • Students with temporary or permanent physical disabilities are also requested to contact the committee for learning disabilities.

Campus life

  • The University has three main campuses: The Marcus Family Campus in Beer-Sheva; the research campus at Sede Boqer and the Eilat Campus.
  • Ben-Gurion University of the Negev has taken on itself the responsibility to care for a cleaner and better quality environment as part of the project "Green Campus".

Sports facilities

  • Sports and recreation center of Ben-Gurion University covers an area of about 30 hectares of green spaces that induce an atmosphere of peace and tranquility.
  • The facilities include: Semi-Olympic pool, indoor semi-Olympic pool including an area for changing rooms for women and men and 4 saunas (wet and dry), a kiddie pool Swimming pool learning is used for providing swimming lessons during the summer, Gym month, professional, six tennis courts, a sports hall used for basketball games, volleyball and mini-football, multipurpose open plot serves Basketball mini-football and beach volleybal

Student clubs

  • The Student Union of Ben-Gurion University has been active for many years, promoting students' welfare in various fields and functions as a center of cultural, social and academic activities.
  • The Student Union services include various services in academic, social, cultural and logistic fields, all available for Union members.
  • The student council is the legislative body of the Student Union, and is in charge of outlining the Union's policy and guidelines.
