ESMT Berlin (European School of Management and Technology) was founded 2002 by 25 global corporations. ESMT opened its campus in the former GDR Staatsratsgebäude at Schlossplatz 1. Built in 1964, the building hosted the Staatsrat (National Council) of the GDR. After reunification, it was the temporary office of the German chancellor and has since been transformed into a modern educational center.
ESMT offers a portfolio of degree programs for high-potential candidates from all over the globe. Courses focus on applied learning and personal development: an ESMT graduate can think creatively about problems faced in a variety of industries. Our curriculums emphasize individual learning - soft skills development is integrated at every step during the programs. ESMT offers three degree programs: Master's in Management, Full-time MBA and Executive MBA (EMBA). All ESMT programs benefit from close relationships with ESMT's corporate network and founders.
There is a library on the first floor of the building where students have access to.
ESMT's campus is located in the center of Berlin - across the street from Museum Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city offers numerous opportunities to explore museums, nightlife, and the surrounding landscape. On campus, students can participate in clubs and activities to grow their network and investigate their interests. The small, intimate atmosphere allows networking opportunities with students from all programs.
ESMT is a state-accredited school, whose programs are also accredited by AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS and FIBAA.
