ESLI offers conditional admission to hundreds of degree programs at the associate's, bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels.  Scholarship opportunities are also available for qualifying students.

Numerous professional organizations emphasize trainings and certifications in facility and event management for their members. These offerings can include aquatic management, crowd control, playground safety, accessibility, risk management, construction standards, turf management, emergency action planning, green design and sustainability, and many more. 

This program is offered by Western Kentucky University. Recreation and Sport Administration is designed to prepare recreation and sport professionals with qualifications and skills to do just that. The program includes thesis and non-thesis options. Candidates are encouraged to write a thesis.

    The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00.     The TOEFL – or Test OF English as a Foreign Language – offers a paper-based test (PBT). The final, overall PBT score ranges between 310 and 677, and is based on an average taken from the three test components (listening, structure, and reading).     The TOEFL – or Test Of English as a Foreign Language – offers an internet-based test (iBT). The final, overall iBT score ranges between 0 and 120, and includes a scaled average from the four components (reading, listening, speaking, and writing). Read more about TOEFL (iBT).

Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Required score: 2.7

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.7 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

  • If your official transcript is not in English, you must have the document translated before the Admissions office can process your application. English translations of transcripts/certificates/diplomas must be provided by a certified translation service or the embassy/consulate of the document’s issuing country or
  • Secondary educational systems vary across the globe. The United States has a 12-year secondary educational system. Many countries have 10, 11, or 13-year secondary educational systems. If you have attended school in a country where the secondary system differs from the United States, you may be eligible for admission.
