The first program of its kind in Canada, the MClSc program is a one-year (three terms) course-based master's program offering an opportunity for experienced health-care professionals to obtain advanced training in a clinical specialty.

About

Students are encouraged to work clinically (part-time) during the program in order to incorporate new knowledge and skills into their clinical practice, but can expect to devote 20 to 30 hours/week to program related activities (e.g., studying, reading, assignments etc).

The MClSc programs offers two fields of study:

  • Manipulative Physical Therapy
Prepares physiotherapists to be advanced clinicians in the assessment and treatment of neuromusular dysfuntion and provide effective management of complex clinical conditions
  • Wound Healing
Designed to provide an educational experience at the graduate level that will focus on the development of specialized clinical skills and research methods needed to assess and treat people with acute and chronic wounds

    The TOEFL – or Test OF English as a Foreign Language – offers a paper-based test (PBT). The final, overall PBT score ranges between 310 and 677, and is based on an average taken from the three test components (listening, structure, and reading).
