The Department of Educational Sciences cooperates with the Institute of Social Sciences conducting a graduate program leading to an M.A. degree in Guidance and Psychological Counseling and in Adult Education. In addition, the Department carries out research and contributes to the dissemination of knowledge in the field.


Educational Sciences Program offers three different MA programs. These are; Adult Education, Guidance and Psychological Counseling, and Curriculum and Instructional Programs. These programs emphasize both the theory and technical competence required for future doctorate students as well as practitioners in the area or similar areas. Students are encouraged to develop a scientific approach, a professional attitude and competence in counseling within the scientist-practitioner model.

    The TOEFL – or Test OF English as a Foreign Language – offers a paper-based test (PBT). The final, overall PBT score ranges between 310 and 677, and is based on an average taken from the three test components (listening, structure, and reading).
