Master's Programme in Advanced Materials for Innovation and Sustainability (EIT Raw Materials) at Aalto University covers substituting and exploiting materials and technologies for products in order to improve their performance while focusing on material and value chain optimisation. You will acquire an understanding of the full raw materials value chain with a mindset for innovation & entrepreneurship focusing on sustainability.

In this double degree programme, the mobility of the students is an integrated part of the programme and students will study at two of the consortium partner universities. Upon completion of the two-year programme, students will receive a double degree. The language of instruction is English.

Study programme

Through studies in the AMIS programme, students will become experts in the field of raw materials, particularly in sustainable functional materials. Alongside, they will get a holistic view on value and process chain.

    The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00.     The TOEFL – or Test OF English as a Foreign Language – offers a paper-based test (PBT). The final, overall PBT score ranges between 310 and 677, and is based on an average taken from the three test components (listening, structure, and reading).
