ITM´s main distinction is its emphasis on policy issues such as strategic trade, strategic marketing, international business and the topics of e-commerce and international law. Graduates of ITM program are expected to develope expertise in designing and implementing global competitive strategies and policies in their business enterprises. Graduates choosing to pursue academic career will be fully equipped to study at reputable universities.
Participants must complete an interdisciplinary core curriculum and elective courses in different specialization areas in the first year and write a thesis in the second year, supervised by an advisor. An oral defense is requisite to complete the degree requirements. The language of instruction is in English. Around 15 students are accepted annually.
Department of International Trade was established within The School of Applied Disciplines founded at Bogaziçi University in 1995. Its mission was defined as the advancement of knowledge in the interdisciplinary field of international trade and educating students to be competent, skillful, active self aware, critical and responsible citizens of the world they will inherit.

The TOEFL – or Test OF English as a Foreign Language – offers a paper-based test (PBT). The final, overall PBT score ranges between 310 and 677, and is based on an average taken from the three test components (listening, structure, and reading). Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.5 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
International Trade Management Masters Program accepts applications only for Fall Semester. The language of instruction is English and no students will be admitted to the English preparatory class.
Candidates who satisfy all the requirements and pass the written exam are qualified for the interview and ranked according to their ALES/GMAT/GRE, exam scores, GPA and interview evaluations. 15 candidates will be admitted to the master program. Candidates may apply only for "May/June application" period.
The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
