About

For those of you that choose Organisation as your specialisation, you will go in-depth and study the various ways in which modern organisations respond to different types of expectations and demands in their environment. This may include new regulations, demands to act ethically and in a socially responsible manner, requirements for transparency, insights into relations with media and the rest of society, or expectations to adjust to new management ideas that are currently in vogue. The specialisation aims to educate analytically skilled employees with a special ability to understand the business environment and the relationships that exist between organisations and society.

During the first year you will take courses that are common for all participants of the Master Programme in Business and Management, as well as courses that are specific to the specialisation in Organisation.

Possible future work positions are in areas like consulting firms, as a researcher in the public sector, as an intelligence analyst in companies or voluntary organisations or in the information department of PR or communication organisations.

After participating in the programme the student will be able to:

  • demonstrate comprehensive knowledge in business studies through the use of interdisciplinary insights within the field of business studies
  • understand and apply the advanced knowledge gained within the chosen specialisation (Marketing, International Business or Organisation)
  • demonstrate advanced knowledge of scientific methods, including qualitative and quantitative methods within the field of business studies

                The TOEFL – or Test OF English as a Foreign Language – offers a paper-based test (PBT). The final, overall PBT score ranges between 310 and 677, and is based on an average taken from the three test components (listening, structure, and reading).               Academic Requirements

              • A Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, from an internationally recognised university.
              • Also required is 90 credits in business studies.
              • All applicants need to verify English language proficiency.

            • Higher education credits (maximum 285 credits)
            • Students with a GMAT test result have priority.
