The aim of this course is to produce HR professionals who are knowledgeable and competent managers in their own right, as well as having their own specialist knowledge and skills in the area of the management and development of people.
In a rapidly changing commercial environment, HR managers are taking an increasingly central role in strategic decision making. This course recognises the challenges faced by today's HR managers, and seeks to equip you with the skills to meet them. You will not only enhance your knowledge and understanding of key issues within the field, you will also develop the confidence to apply them in a professional environment, creating innovative solutions to complex organisational problems.
The course will benefit those HR managers who are preparing themselves for senior roles and are seeking to develop their strategic and international perspectives and establish HR as a major influence in the formation of company policy. Specifically, students will gain exposure to a range of cutting-edge HR concepts, increased managerial effectiveness and enhanced process and implementation skills.

The format of the course will be a mixture of theory presentation, discussion and practical skill development based on case studies, simulations and structured experiences, which reflect typical HRM issues.

The course is assessed formally through written work or group and individual presentations comprising the following, as appropriate for each module: Major Project and knowledge/work-based assignment(s). Allows those who have an existing CIPD Diploma stage qualification to convert this to a full MA.

The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00. Minimum required score (Grade C):
The CAE test – or the Cambridge Advanced English – is an exam for applicants who wish to get a Certificate in Advanced English. To receive the Advanced certificate, test-takers must score between 142 and 210 on the Cambridge English: Advanced test. Read more about CAE.

Minimum required score:
The TOEFL – or Test OF English as a Foreign Language – offers a paper-based test (PBT). The final, overall PBT score ranges between 310 and 677, and is based on an average taken from the three test components (listening, structure, and reading). Entry requirement is CIPD diploma/Diploma in HRM. Preferably 1-2 years minimum in HR post.
At least 1 year(s) of work experience are required.
