The Electronic Engineering - Curriculum Electronic Technologies for Big-data and Internet of Things (E-BIT) is offered at University of Bologna.
The core classes are mainly concentrated in the first year and aim to consolidate basic knowledge. During their second year students can choose their curriculum classes mostly in the field of electronics and telecommunications with options in automation and robotics, computersand information processing, and bioengineering.The classes are organized with lectures, practice, design and laboratory activities.
ECST graduates will be able to work in companies whose core business is the design and/or manufacturing of devices, equipment, systems, and infrastructures of electronic and optoelectronic type, including sensor systems, advanced telecommunication systems, applications of artificial intelligence and software engineering. Moreover, they will be able to effectively contribute to all working activities employing electronic technologies or infrastructures for signal processing in the civil construction, industrial and information fields, within public or private research Institutes, public Agencies, or Academia. Their responsibilities will be ranging from design to research, development, management and teaching.

Tuition fees are estimative. All students pay based on their Equivalent Financial Situation Indicator (ISEE), irrespective of the programme they enrol on.
