The M.A. in International Relations - Curriculum International Affairs at the University of Bologna aims to develop professionals able to investigate and analyze geopolitical strategies, conflict mediation and security policies in the international context.


International Relations is a highly qualified 2nd cycle degree programme which aims to provide students with a number of key skills and competences to compete in the international labor market, both private and public. Students will get a broad and multidisciplinary view of the most recent economic and political phenomena, as well as an in-depth insight of the key differences that mark Asia, Africa, Latina Americas, Europe as different regions in the worlds.

The M.A. in International Relations - Curriculum International Affairs at the University of Bologna analyses international relations in geo-political and strategic terms, security policies, conflict management and prevention of political crises. The course units are multi-disciplinary, covering economics, political science, law, sociology and history.

    The TOEFL – or Test OF English as a Foreign Language – offers a paper-based test (PBT). The final, overall PBT score ranges between 310 and 677, and is based on an average taken from the three test components (listening, structure, and reading). Academic Requirements

In order to apply for the admission to the 2nd cycle degree in International Relations, curricula: European Affairs, International Affairs it is necessary to have: A First Cycle Degree from an Italian university among those listed below or an equivalent First Cycle Degree (B.A. or B.Sc.) from a non Italian University which grants access to a Second Cycle Degree (M.A., M.Sc.) in the issuing country.
