About

The focus area is a combination of operations research (e.g. inventory control, production planning and forecasting under random and non-random demand), and supply chain management (e.g. coordination problems like the “bull-whip effect” in supply chains, the impact of variability on production design, factory physics and lean manufacturing and coordination of incentives in supply chains using contracts).

Through courses in cost accounting and links in supply chain management, you will gain knowledge about control and incentive problems both in relation to the individual partner in the chain and the chain in total as well.

This Economics and Business Administration - Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management programme is offered by the University of Southern Denmark.

In general you will gain knowledge about and skills in using quantitative tools and models designed to analyse, plan and optimize core areas of a firm. Finally, you will learn about strategic issues in supply chain management and management accounting.

    The CAE test – or the Cambridge Advanced English – is an exam for applicants who wish to get a Certificate in Advanced English. To receive the Advanced certificate, test-takers must score between 142 and 210 on the Cambridge English: Advanced test. Read more about CAE.

Academic Requirements

To apply for a Master's programme in Economics and Business Administration, you need a relevant Bachelor's degree. You can apply if you hold one of the following degrees:

  • BSc in Economics and Business Administration from University of Southern Denmark
  • BSc in Economics (Business Economics) from University of Southern Denmark.

You can also apply if you hold a similar Bachelor's degree including a minimum of 75 ECTS within the field of Economics and Business Administration

Options for full-degree graduate students:

BHJ Scholarship

Only available for students applying for a master programme at our Sønderborg Campus

Six one-year scholarships are issued pr. year: three for studies within the technical field i.e. Mechatronics and Innovation & Business respectively, and three are for studies within the field of business administration i.e. Business Relationship Management.

A scholarship of DKK 40.000 may be granted if and when the requirements are met. It is paid in two instalments of DKK 20.000 per semester. The scholarship grant depends on acceptance and enrolment as a full-time student in one of the above mentioned programmes.
