About

The aim the Environmental and Energy Management programme offered by University of Twente (UT) is to prepare future decision-makers in companies, government and non-governmental organisations to analyse and act in an environmentally pro-active way when deciding about policy, production and resource utilisation. The overall goal is to broaden the scope of knowledge and skills of participants, contributing to capacity building in the field of sustainable development

                English Language Requirements

                You only need to take one of these language tests:

                  The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00.                   The CAE test – or the Cambridge Advanced English – is an exam for applicants who wish to get a Certificate in Advanced English. To receive the Advanced certificate, test-takers must score between 142 and 210 on the Cambridge English: Advanced test. Read more about CAE.

                  Note: degree programmes and applications may require a more specific minimum score for admission.

                  The TOEFL – or Test Of English as a Foreign Language – offers an internet-based test (iBT). The final, overall iBT score ranges between 0 and 120, and includes a scaled average from the four components (reading, listening, speaking, and writing). Read more about TOEFL (iBT).

                Academic Requirements

                Requirements:
                • Applicants for the master’s programme should have a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or accredited academic institution in a discipline related to that of the master’s programme (certified copy of a diploma together with the official transcript of academic records).
                • Letter of motivation (max 1,5  page)
                • Contact information of two references (reference letters are not required)
                • A resume, summarizing educational career and working experience
                • An interview with the pre-master committee can be part of your selection procedure.
