The increasingly dynamic complexity of construction and, consequently, the changing perception of interests and values have initiated the development of a special program in the area between ‘construction engineering' and ‘scientific management and economics'.
The two-year Construction Management and Engineering (CME) degree program from the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is also part of the 4TU Federation, consisting of the four universities of Technology in the Netherlands. The CME degree program is coordinated between the three universities Eindhoven University, Delft University, and University Twente, with the possibility of taking elective courses at each location.Employment
When you have completed the Master program in Construction Management & Engineering, you will be familiar with the methodical analysis and process design of project and process management. That means you will be able to find employment in the field, or you can opt to develop your knowledge further as a research worker. In the former case you will usually be working as a manager in a building company, government agency or project developer.
This program is legally recognized and accredited by the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO).
This MSc program, realized at the three locations of the 4TU Graduate School, is subdivided into two blocks: a general block and a specialization block.
The courses in this first block align the knowledge of students with different backgrounds and provide an introduction into the four ‘corner stones’ for this domain of science:
