Founded in 1872, Maryville University is a four-year, private university located in west St. Louis County. Maryville University students may choose from 50 academic programs, including degrees at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels. The BSN, MSN and DNP programs at Maryville University are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, and the BSN program is also fully approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.

The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) is an autonomous accrediting agency, contributing to the improvement of the public’s health. The Commission ensures the quality and integrity of baccalaureate, graduate and residency programs in nursing. The Commission serves the public interest by assessing and identifying programs that engage in effective educational practices. As a voluntary, self-regulated process, CCNE accreditation supports and encourages continuing self-assessment by nursing programs and supports continuing growth and improvement of collegiate professional education and post-baccalaureate nurse residency programs.
