Student services

Need advice? The Centre offers 24-hour support from the moment you arrive. From visa and immigration support to airport pick-up, an orientation programme and residential assistants within the accommodation, you’ll have all the help you need to settle in.

Housing services

When you study with us, you can choose to live in:

  • brand new, purpose-built accommodation on the University campus
  • a carefully selected homestay family
INTO Newcastle University follow a distinct set of standards for our student accommodation, called the ANUK/Unipol National Codes. The purpose of these Codes, membership of which is voluntary, is to provide students with professional housing services. The standards chosen for the Codes reflect a balance of common sense obligations and responsibilities between landlords and tenants. They also reflect established best practice in the sector and are based on what an average student and their parents would expect of a good quality housing supplier.

Library services

There are three libraries on campus. Open seven days a week, 24-hours a day, the Robinson Library is the University’s main library. Here you’ll find over one million books, more than 100,000 electronic resources and thousands of journals.

ICT services

As well as contemporary classrooms and fantastic IT facilities, the Centre provides a versatile laboratory, a Language Resource Centre and an extensive library. And you’ll be supported by our dedicated teachers and staff who’ll ensure you get the most from your time at Newcastle University.
